Opening in 1977, Borrowfield was built to accommodate the new housing in the Borrowfield area of Montrose. Borrowfield Primary is an open plan school which consists of separate blocks for pupils from pre-school to Primary 7.

 

Our recently refurbished Early Years Block is home to the Nursery and Primaries 1 - 2/3, while Primaries     3/4 - 7 are located in the Upper Block.

Our Community Lounge is used extensively by the ‘Kids Out of School Club’ (a privately owned out-of-school care provider), Senior Citizens Club, Mother and Toddlers group and Brownies. All of these groups make a valuable contribution to the life of the school.

 

Borrowfield has a current school role of 227 pupils with a further 30 children in the nursery.
